About the Blog

I have always loved sale shopping and getting the best bang for my buck. Since moving out to Salt Lake City in 2005 to attend school, I have been on my own and trying to save money in any way I can. I love surfing the internet for freebies and offers, so I figured, why not post them on a blog to share with others? My friends that are my age all think I’m a nut because I’m so into couponing and deal searching. I’m the only person my age that I know personally that clips coupons. My fiance use to think I was a bit crazy, but now that he sees what good couponing and deal searching does for us, he’s on board!

I originally started Real Simple Saving Methods on BlogSpot at the end of February in 2009. I decided I wanted to expand and try out Wordpress (all of the other blogs rave about how great it is) with a domain and completed the transfer in April 2009. The goal of my blog is to help others save money and find the great deals that are out there.
