I was recently sent samples of Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries — Bare Skin.
Leslie Blodgett is the beauty icon & CEO of Bare Escentuals. Bare Skin is the first scent in the Perfume Diaries limited edition fragrance collection.
Bare Skin harkens back to a time when Leslie was bursting with the unbridled joy of life, sunbathing on a Mexican beach and cart-wheeling fancy-free on the warm sands. “Bare Skin…” she explains, “is the way you feel when the sun is beating down on you during the day, but then you go out at night and you’re still sizzling from the warmth of the day which mingles with night air and music.”
When I first smelled Bare Skin I thought it was a bit strong and not my taste. But once I applied the perfume to my skin I could understand how this scent was inspired by the beach. The scent is clean and not too strong once on. Of course it’s going to smell strong when you’re sniffing a whole bottle of it. It’s a fun scent that can be worn for any occasion.
Bare Skin is available exclusively at Sephora and comes in Eau de Parfum Spray, Solid Perfume, & Perfumed Body Cream.
I really enjoy this scent and would recommend it to others. Please remember, perfume smells differently on everyone once it’s on your skin. This review is just my personal opinion.
