Review :: Fruit2O Essentials

by Tiffany on 10.26.09

Fruit2O_GroupHorizontalAs part of Buzz Cooperative I was given the opportunity to try out Fruit2O Essentials. I was mailed all 6 flavors to try out and give my honest opinion on.

I’ll admit it, I’m not a big water fan. I have started drinking more since having my gallbladder removed in April, but I still like something with flavor. I’ve tried flavored waters in the past and have never really cared for them. I decided to try Fruit2O Essentials with an open mind though and was pleasantly surprised!

I tried the Peach Mango first and really enjoyed it! When sipping on the water you can taste a hint of the peach mango flavor briefly, but then once it’s in your mouth for a second the flavor seems to fade, which was just fine with me. I felt like the flavor was just enough and not over powering like I had expected. Over the next few days I tried the rest and was still pleasantly surprised with each one — Cranberry Raspberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Citrus, Blueberry Pomegranate, & Cherry Acai. I love that these beverages have zero calories and zero sugar.

A quick fun fact: Recent USDA studies show that 80 percent of Americans do not drink the recommended eight glasses of water a day and 77 percent of Americans do not eat the recommended servings of fruit a day. Fruit2O Essentials offers four to five nutrients (vitamins and minerals) found in two servings of fruit and 1g of fiber. Women looking to stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet can better achieve the recommended daily intake of water and fruit nutrients by drinking Fruit2O Essentials.

Fruit2O Essentials is currently available in many US markets. Grocery stores sell them as singles for $1.29 – $1.49/bottle. You can also look for bulk packs of 15 bottles for $9.99 – $12.99.
